What Was the Highlight of Your Weekend?

I went to the Zoom-time assuming
No personal tie, since we’re Zooming.
Yet to my surprise,
There’s warmth in folk’s eyes.
Participants look like they’re blooming.

My weekend was spent attending a Zoomed retreat.
I would not have thought
Time in front of computer screen,
With faces in little squares,
Would provide
Connection, as well as Information.

The simplicity of attending,
Even for non-tech-me,
Convenience of not driving in snow,
Let’s me learn-in-place.

Funny to be writing about a Zoom meeting.
I think it says that although
Stationary bike pedaling, and
Walking the halls, is suitable conditioning for now,
There are other areas on which to focus.

Things will roll out in time.
(I guess that’s literal, & a play-on-words, — roll out in time.)
For now, I’m paying attention to
Variety that is relevant and available.

One-day-at-a-time.
However that needs to be.

Hugs to you.

Lin,
You inspire me every day. I just signed up for the Erie Canal ride.
Best,
Susan
