Sequim Adventures

Rode bike 15 miles Tuesday, 20 today

Wednesday, April 17, 2019

Hello My Friends,

Now I'm in Sequim,
Midst positive swirl of
Biking, speaking, and family.

Lindy and Ty live in this lovely spot,
With mountains on one side and
Salt water several miles to other side.

Sort of down middle is "Olympic Discovery Bike Trail",
Wonderful resource for moving through country on bicycle.
Riding on trail—no traffic,
Flat where I chose to be,
Makes biking seem just ... The Best!

I always wonder why that is for me.
Hmm… No answer and that's okay.
I will "soak it in"...

Today I rode in Port Angeles along water and back,
Ten miles of travel magazine caliber views.
Back in P.A. decided to go other direction,
To end of Ediz Hook.

I hesitated about adding that bit of ride,
Then thought, "if not now, when?"
My intent is to take the possibilities as they show up.
"She who hesitates will miss out!”

I used the bus to get me and bike back to Sequim.
Nice option.

Last night I spoke
To a Storytelling guild/club in Port Angeles.
What a great reason to have a club!
Audience was attentive, receptive, kind.
Folks came to me afterward to comment and often
To tell me bits of their story.

That is a privilege of being a speaker:
People share their stories with me.
We ALL have stories to share.
The sharing connects, I think.

Tap me a bit of your story!
I will cherish the connection.

Hugs,
Lin

Limerick:

When biking beside ocean water,
It seems like I really should 'otter,’
Keep riding for miles,
It brings me such smiles,
Could be I'm the ocean's "Land Daughter!”
