Pedal to the next destination!

Knowing THE SINGLE thing

Needing to be accomplished in a day,

Is probably my favorite things about a bike trip.

Pedal to the next destination!

Of course, within the day,

There is terrain, weather, road surface.

Embedded with bike community that evolves,

There is communication, relaying info,

Being aware of other riders.

I benefitted from vigilance of other riders.

“Where’s Lin”.

Following someone’s lead,

Having rider wait to be sure I made turn,

I got lots of help.

Here at home, people I love,

Space to make day into what I want,

I miss the “Day’s Drill”.

It takes me some time to

Return fully.

I appreciate where I am & where I’ve been.

Lucky me!

Hugs,

Lin

Home –loved ones with familiar voices,

Home — words that I hear are “rejoices”.

I’m grateful to be,

With folks who love me.

Each day, I must make many choices!

Thanks for sharing your ride. So much joy and enthusiasm even when it means packing it for the day.
Getting in out of the rain or not making the turn.

Glad you are home; safe and sound planning the next adventure.

Thank you, Muriel! It has been a boon in my life since I turned 60. 🙂

You did it!! Know this was not an easy one–none of these rides are “easy”, but could tell you were working really hard on this one. WOW . . . so glad you got out of that area before the rain, tornadoes hit!!

I have loved “riding” along with you and have enjoyed all the historical points of interest–from the Erie Canal to each ice cream and pie destination!! All the photos have been so wonderful.

What a super team you rode with on this trip. It does, indeed, “take a village” to accomplish many goals in our lives.

Welcome home! I am so very proud of you and consider it an honor that we “grew up” together–from grade school and onward! Sending you my heartfelt love and congratulations on “Mission Accomplished”!! One pedal at a time! xoxoxoxoxoxo
