I rode with Susan, MG, & Stan.
Thank goodness! Wonderful help.
Being with folks who read directions well,
Know how to use a GPS on phone,
Got me here without being lost.
Whew, I hate being lost.
That can make me feel panicked.
For a couple of months,
My total focus — riding miles, gaining strength.
Good results, I am stronger.
Effort well-put.
Riding one day this week,
Passing corn field, I thought…
You know those long, steep hills?
In life, or on a bicycle?
They can be Tough!
Seven weeks from June 13 until start of Empire State Ride.
Does it fit to be a
Biking web post?
Gratitude?
Eleven weeks until start of Empire State Ride.
No biking to report.
Unusual week filled with time-consuming appts.
Each important with positive outcome,
Each gulping down time.
12 weeks until start of Empire State Bike Tour
Not much biking for me this week.
“Living-my-life-happy” events,
Things that come ’round annually,
Were center of attention.
My Birthday!
This weekend I turned 82 years old.
With that, a wealth of
Connections for me to cherish.
I had a dream I remembered!
Seldom happens.
Usually disappear in jumble,
Shapes, people, bizarre circumstances.
This hung around.
How do you trust your route?
How often are our paths winding?
Unsure, rough and gravelly?
Connection to next part unclear,
Yet arriving at place that
Is start of continuing journey.
First time in years
I’ve rescued the turkey “wishbone.”
One of best things from meal is,
Broth from turkey carcass bones.
There it was—Wishbone,
Inviting me to wish.
How is weather affecting your mood?
Oh my, this warm week unlocked
Eager-to-be-outside joy!
I saw it everywhere I saw people.
Happy to be out, “doing.”
It can be HARD to be flexible.
Sometimes even hard to be generous!
What helps you with frustration and impatience?
