Making your way at Life’s Crossings.
My highlight of this HOT day?
Definitely was pedaling over Hudson River,
On Cuomo Bridge, for pedestrians & bicycles.
Three & half miles of special lanes.
A Rail Trail is wonderful!
Harlem Valley Rail Trail—
Early in today’s ride.
Twenty-four miles of flat, calm riding.
THE BEST!
Remaining miles into lunch stop
Had moderate hills.
The kind that seem worth
Pedaling up, for coasting down.

Wise women have taught me:

Effort well-put.
Riding one day this week,

I started thinking,
You know that I think

BIG and BRAVE…
My extending training rides are
Major focus these days.
Satisfaction of daily gain,
Makes hard work okay for now.
You know those long, steep hills?
In life, or on a bicycle?
They can be Tough!
Six weeks from June 20 until Empire State Bike Tour.
Disappointment was my take—
Not getting to meet on Root River Trail,
For bike ride with son & young boys,
Plus, picnic in a park.
Seemed like loss.
Seven weeks from June 13 until start of Empire State Ride.
Does it fit to be a
Biking web post?
Gratitude?
Eight weeks from June 5 until start of Empire State Ride.
Another day of big wind & high temps,
Requiring my careful time-plan to ride bike.
That is, for my optional bike rides.
