Continue readingWhen I have a “run” of forgetting,
No doubt the results are upsetting.
I’m close to despair,
Still one can declare,
An outcome may show up abetting.
When needing to make a decision,
Your mind provides you with a vision;
Of outcome that’s best.
You don’t know the rest!
Your guess is the closest precision.
To live with the hard wind that’s blowing,
You must be intent on the “going.”
And may you receive
Some micro-reprieve,
That morphs knock-down times into “flowing.”
Activities, plus time for biking,
Variety—that I am liking.
It is very true,
That what you can do,
Depends on the balance you’re striking.
When viewing some view for the first time,
That’s sprung forth from fast-growing enzyme.
I see fresh and new.
How quickly it grew.
I’m lucky to view life in full prime.
I pedal with fun and with liking,
My bike that I ride as I’m biking.
Though nearly the same,
I loudly can claim
The change that I feel is quite striking.
The walking they do, I’ve admired,
I will do that too when required.
That will be my tack,
Then I can get back.
My need-to is that I’m flat-tired.
When trying is quite ineffective
I CAN take a route that’s corrective.
And ask for your “hand”
With what I have planned.
Results now are good, not defective.
Rides that have given great pleasure,
Are memories I’ll always treasure.
The things that I’ll do,
Will challenge me through,
And satisfy me beyond measure.
You think that you know from your mapping,
The “all” of the ride you are tapping.
It could be that you,
Change to something new.
Original mapping, now scrapping.
I notice how often I hurry;
Passing by things in a flurry.
There’s really no need,
For dashing with speed.
Which makes what I pass rather blurry!
