80th Birthday Coming Up
The perfect gift—Plus a Request...
Friday, March 1, 2019
Hello My Friends!
I'm looking out my MN window
At air filled with latest snowfall.
Winter this year ...
Seemingly endless, heavy snow,
Frightful cold.
Next week, March 6, Bob and I travel
To Sanibel Island, FL.
Where there is long off-road bike path,
Seaside, outside biking,
Break in winter for us.
That trip also celebrates my birthday,
A decade birthday! Eighty years.
It was on Sanibel 20 years ago that I rode before
March 13 first cross-country bike ride
Celebrating my turning 60.
Little did I know how much that would matter to me.
You and I now know that long bike rides somehow
"Fill me up.”
The stretching to do something bigger then ever before,
To take on adventure I never would have considered,
Has expanded my life.
Certainly expanded my sense of possibility.
Now I get to tell people about it,
To talk to people about stretching in their lives.
Speaking “fills me up” too.
My family can see that.
For my upcoming birthday,
They designed my personally, individualized bike shirt!
Fabulous Gift,
The shirt ... the figuring out just-right-gift.
Makes me happy to my core.
You will see me wearing that shirt
As daily as possible.
Shirt says,
"Ask Me About yesIthinkIcan.com"
I'm counting on getting interested questions.
Just recently I've begun working with coach
Who has explained that subscriber numbers matter
When reaching to be booked for big audience groups.
Here is the Help I'm asking from each of you:
Please ask your friends to sign up for my Bike Notes.
When you go to "yesithinkican.com"
First thing that pops up is the sign-up page.
Use the “share” icons at bottom of email
To forward to a friend via email or Facebook.
You can tell them they will like
Reading of my bike adventures.
Tell them how delighted they will be
To be on-line audience from any spot.
That's the help I need right now.
Question? Leave me a note below,
Or reply to this email. We'll talk.
Thank you, my friends.
I'll be writing to you from FL.
Stay tuned. It's coming soon.
Big Hugs,
Lin
Limerick:
Once signed up for reading my website,
It's clear in the messages I write,
I'm surely not brave,
It's just that I crave,
Bike riding for bringing me delight!
